Unfolding Shirts and Pants in a Retail Store

Not sure about you but in most cases I have to pull out folded pants and unfold t-shirts just to find my size.  Some pants do have size strip labels but most of the time the size strips either have very small lettering or it is dark and can't be seen very well.  Another issue is how the pants are stacked on top of each other.  InStockLabels.com can solve the problem of the way the strips look because they use high definition printing on a clear strip.  A white background is placed behind the white text and can been seen very well.  Now all that is needed is for the pants to be stacked evenly so the strips line up just right.  This will lead to more sales and less folding.

Selling Shoes in Resale Stores

After visiting dozens of resale stores just in my area I noticed one big problem, and that was shoes scattered all on and under the metal racks.  Some shoes did not have even have matches and more importantly kids shoes were mixed with adults.  I was there to test how many stores used the same methods.  I observed customers going through shoes, trying them on to see if the size was correct, then leaving them on the floor.

Here is my suggestion:

1. Divide the racks into fours. Women, Men, Girls, Boys (with boys and girls having everything from toddler children to youth.)

2. Place a sign above each section that says just the same (boys, girls etc).  Mention on the sign that "inside of shoe shows the size".

3. Place one of InStockLabels shoe size stickers on the inside of the shoes.  These stickers can be removed from the fabric of the inside of the shoes easily.  They are also color coded so similar shoes show to be an exact match.
